Although the government and universities have encouraged students to become entrepreneurs, many of them still choose careers as office workers. This study aims to identify the motivational factors that drive Indonesian students to become entrepreneurs, using motivational theories developed by Indonesian scientists. This study focuses on key factors such as family influence, financial opportunities, and socio-cultural norms that are believed to play an important role in entrepreneurial motivation. Data were obtained from 100 students through questionnaires, which were then analyzed using quantitative methods to see the relationship between these factors and entrepreneurial interest. Elsewedy Electric Indonesia. The company faces challenges in meeting increasing market demand, especially in the renewable energy sector. The company's main challenge is the mismatch between current production capacity, which is optimized for medium to high capacity transformers, and market demand that is shifting towards smaller transformers. This study uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five stakeholder: (1) General Manager, (2) Head of Production, (3) Production Manager and (4) Sourcing Manager from PT. EEI. Quantitative data include historical production data, cycle time data from MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique) studies, and actual machine or workspace data. SWOT analysis is used to map sourcing strategies, and MOST studies are used to calculate production cycle time and plant capacity. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is implemented to align operational performance with long-term financial targets. The Balance Scorecard covers four perspectives, namely financial, customer, internal process, and learning & growth, with a total of 10 strategic objectives. The research findings show that the Dry Oven and testing stages are bottlenecks in the production process. The maximum monthly capacity is 14 units or equivalent to 840 MVA, while the winding process can produce 19 units or equivalent to 1140 MVA. Strategic recommendations include the application of vapor phase drying technology can reduce drying time by 20%, diversifying suppliers for long-term delivery materials by adding 2-3 new vendors, implementing the optional strategy of building Testbay 3 to increase testing capacity by 30%, and reallocating 50% of production to high-value MV/HV transformers, which is projected to increase annual output from 10,080 MVA to 12,983 MVA. The limitation of this study is that no investment calculations were made on the optional strategy of building the new Testbay 3. The scenario implementation recommendations are divided into two stages: (1) Short term, including the implementation of vapor phase drying technology, supplier diversification, and the implementation of effective product portfolio reallocation, and (2) Optional strategy including the construction of Testbay 3 taking into account the strategic evaluation of scenario 1.

2025-02-26T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Agung Sukma Hardana, Dermawan Wibisono https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/2402 THE EFFECT OF COMMUNICATION AND WORKLOAD ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH WORK SPIRIT AS A MEDIATION VARIABLE 2025-01-19T12:38:25+00:00 Evelyne Wulan Ayu HW evelyne.012022122@civitas.ukrida.ac.id Adrie Frans Assa adrie.assa@ukrida.ac.id Eka Desy Purnama ekadesy@ukrida.ac.id
In today's modern era, many companies are required to be able to develop and improve human resources so that their performance can increase optimally. The Net Capacity (NC) of this system is approximately 492 MW and the Net Supply Capacity (SC) is around 462 MW, resulting in a gap between installed capacity, NC, and SC Over the past few years, the electricity sales growth in North Sulawesi Province has been quite high, around 7.8% based on sales data from 2011-2020, and is projected to continue growing. Additionally, it is expected that the Energy Mix from New and Renewable Energy sources should reach 23% by 2025, thus the development of new power plants from New and Renewable Energy sources can contribute to achieving this Energy Mix. This research is conducted as a further study regarding the feasibility of investing in the development of XYZ Geothermal Power Plant to provide added value for the company. The research method employed is quantitative descriptive method, which involves calculating the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Profitability Index (PI), Discounted Payback Period (PP), and Sensitivity Analysis (SA). The results show that the investment will be feasible if the capital source for the investment comes from corporate loans for the upstream sector and soft loans for the downstream sector of development, resulting in an NPV of 2,241 thousand USD, an IRR of 11.11%, a PI of 1.01, and a PP of 24 years. Furthermore, the analysis shows that the decision on the capital source is important, as it affects feasibility, and loan variables such as the interest rate in corporate loans and repayment years in soft loans are important factors to consider in increasing economic feasibility. On the other hand, if the best scenario is chosen—decreasing cost variables and increasing both the electricity tariff and capacity factor by 10% from the base scenario—it can result in higher economic feasibility. Moreover, the electricity tariff, capacity factor, production well cost, and power plant cost have the greatest impact on feasibility. Therefore, it is important to strive for the maximum value of the electricity tariff and capacity factor, while minimizing production well and power plant costs as efficiently as possible.
2025-02-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Darussalam Darussalam, Irni Yunita https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/2558 EXPLORING THE DRIVERS OF CHANGE READINESS AND COMMITMET THROUGH THEMATIC ANALYSIS 2025-02-27T03:57:49+00:00 Wirda Savitri wirda_savitri@sbm-itb.ac.id Aurik Gustomo aurik@sbm-itb.ac.id
As the world and industry changes, companies can either resist the change or follow and transform themselves to survive. However, a comprehensive geochemical and mineralogical evaluation is essential to ascertain their suitability for industrial applications. This study integrates major and trace element geochemistry, petrographic analysis, and industrial feasibility assessments to characterize the limestone’s composition, depositional history, and potential for clinker production. A total of eight representative limestone samples were systematically collected and subjected to X-ray fluorescence (XRF), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and petrographic investigations. The geochemical analysis reveals that the CaO content ranges from 50.12% to 54.89%, with low SiO₂, Al₂O₃, and Fe₂O₃ concentrations, indicating high chemical purity. The trace element profiling exhibits minimal Mn, Sr, and P₂O₅, further enhancing its desirability for cement manufacturing. Petrographic observations confirm the dominance of fine- to medium-grained calcite with minor dolomitization and siliceous impurities, suggesting a shallow marine depositional environment with diagenetic overprinting. The findings demonstrate that the Khumnoh limestone meets international cement-grade standards (ASTM C150, BIS 4032-2022), positioning it as a viable raw material for clinker production. However, localized variations in siliceous and argillaceous intercalations necessitate beneficiation strategies to optimize its industrial utility. The study also underscores the imperative of sustainable extraction practices, given the region’s geological sensitivity and ecological constraints. This research provides a scientific framework for resource evaluation, industrial application, and sustainable utilization of the Khumnoh limestone. The primary objective is to determine the impact of green accounting on sustainable development, with CSR functioning as an intermediary. Utilizing path analysis and the Sobel test to evaluate mediation, the findings reveal a significant negative relationship between green accounting and CSR, potentially attributable to an imbalance in prioritizing environmental metrics over social initiatives. Conversely, CSR demonstrates a significant positive influence on sustainable development; however, it fails to mediate the relationship between green accounting and sustainability. This research attempts to analyze the economic and financial viability of B50 biodiesel by examining supply-demand dynamics, cost structures, investment requirements, and market pricing mechanisms. Furthermore, it analyzes the impact of B50 on the domestic palm oil industry, the prospects for export activity, and how financially sustainable are its implementations. The methods mixed were employed, using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Data were obtained from government reports, industry publications, expert interviews, and econometric modeling. The study analyzes past biodiesel policies, the regulatory framework, and how these factors influence subsidies and incentives in making B50 commercially viable. With respect to the economic aspect, production costs, profitability projections, and risk assessment were performed to achieve a conclusive financial assessment. The research argues that the B50 option will greatly reduce foreign exchange outflow, enhance energy security, and present challenges in terms of supply chain stability, pricing, and market competition. The report underscores the need for policy intervention to put in place better infrastructure, financing regime, and regulatory framework to counter these risks. International trade policies, including the EUDR, create future export challenges for Indonesian palm oil, thereby necessitating proper strategizing concerning the adjustment of domestic consumption and production planning. Lastly, the study concludes that the government support with joint cooperation from the industries will determine the economic and financial viability of B50 biodiesel. Recommended policies include better utilization of degraded lands, improved productivity of smallholders, and ensuring financial incentives for stakeholders. This study is aimed at adding to the ongoing debate regarding sustainable energy policies, which will, with this study, serve as one of the main early references for future biodiesel development strategies in Indonesia.
2025-02-26T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Dyah Ratna Paramith https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/2410 THE EFFECT OF WORK ENVIRONMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN MEDIATION BY WORK DISCIPLINE AT PT. By 2030, e-waste generation is projected to reach 4.4 million tons. A study by the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) revealed that only 17.4% of e-waste was recycled in 2021, highlighting the inefficiency of Indonesia's current e-waste management system. Smartphones are the most frequently disposed of e-waste, with an average lifespan of 3.42 years—shorter than most electronic devices. By 2028, over 40 million discarded smartphones are expected to significantly contribute to e-waste. To address this, the Indonesian government introduced a circular economy roadmap through Regulation No. 75 of 2019, mandating Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). However, its implementation has been suboptimal, hindered by limited collaboration among stakeholders. Effective smartphone waste management requires awareness, clear procedures, secure data handling, and practices that maximize economic value. This study involves key stakeholders—consumers, producers, waste managers, and government representatives—to co-design solutions using a design thinking approach. This study explores the impact of SES on educational access in the Kashmir region, focusing on the contrasting realities faced by urban and rural populations. In particular, it seeks to understand how factors such as parental education, household income, infrastructure availability, digital access, and gender influence educational outcomes in these areas. The research was conducted through a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, including surveys, government reports, and focus group discussions involving parents, teachers, and students from both urban (Srinagar, Anantnag) and rural (Kupwara, Pulwama, Bandipora) regions. The findings reveal significant disparities between urban and rural areas, with urban households generally experiencing higher socioeconomic status, better infrastructure, and greater access to educational resources. Urban students benefit from better parental involvement, higher educational investment, and access to modern facilities, including libraries, science labs, and digital tools. Conversely, rural households, particularly those with lower income and education levels, face substantial barriers to accessing quality education. In rural areas, educational facilities are often under-resourced, with overcrowded classrooms, inadequate teaching materials, and limited access to digital platforms. The digital divide further exacerbates these inequalities, as urban students are better equipped to engage with e-learning platforms, while rural students struggle with limited access to technology and internet connectivity. Moreover, gender disparities are pronounced in rural Kashmir, where cultural norms often hinder female educational participation. Female students face additional challenges, such as a lack of sanitation facilities and safety concerns, which contribute to higher dropout rates. The impact of the ongoing conflict in Kashmir further complicates these issues, disrupting the academic calendar and contributing to teacher absenteeism and a lack of stability in rural areas. This study underscores the need for targeted policy interventions to address these inequities, including infrastructure development, digital inclusion, gender-sensitive policies, and conflict resolution strategies. By improving access to quality education in rural Kashmir, it is possible to create a more equitable educational environment and ensure that all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background, have the opportunity to succeed.
2025-02-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Zubaida Ahad https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/2491 PORTRAIT OF THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC LIFE OF FISHERMEN IN PANTAI LABU SUB-DISTRICT, NORTH SUMATRA 2025-02-13T02:21:11+00:00 Atha Rifqi Wahyudi Silitonga Atharifqiwahyudisilitonga04@gmail.com Muhammad Farhan Pulungan Atharifqiwahyudisilitonga04@gmail.com Muhammad Ihsan Al Kahfi Atharifqiwahyudisilitonga04@gmail.com Habib Aulia Atharifqiwahyudisilitonga04@gmail.com Rasia Azima Putra Haganta Purba Atharifqiwahyudisilitonga04@gmail.com
This research discusses the socio-economy of fishing communities in Pantai Labu District, North Sumatra. Particularly for PT QWE items that contribute significantly to the company's revenue, PT ZXC's sales have stalled over the last five years. The nationwide demand for products with HS code 8413.50.90 has increased despite a decline in purchases from PT ZXC, suggesting fierce rivalry at the supplier level. The primary target markets were determined by historical data analysis and AHP to be businesses with high purchase frequency and value, such as oil and gas, power plants, water/wastewater, and petrochemicals. The Technical Workshop Masterclass was the most successful marketing technique, according to the AHP statistics, because it was relevant to the target market and improved product comprehension. It is therefore recommended that PT ZXC concentrate on setting up technical workshops, expanding its target market, and enhancing its after-sales support. To guarantee long-term efficacy, marketing techniques should also be periodically reviewed and modified in response to consumer input. It is anticipated that PT ZXC will boost sales of PT QWE products and solidify its place in the cutthroat industry with this approach.

2025-02-10T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Adam Riztama Amora, Pri Hermawan https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/2546 AUDITOR'S ABILITY TO DETECT FRAUD: THE ROLE OF TRAINING AS A MODERATOR 2025-02-25T14:14:33+00:00 Shita Tiara shitatiara@umnaw.ac.id Debbi Chyntia Ovami debbichyntiaovami@umnaw.ac.id Henny Zurika Lubis hennyzurika@umsu.ac.id Camelya Adelyani Br Hutagalung camelyaadelyani@gmail.com Gadiez Salsabilla Panjaitan gadiezsalsabilla@gmail.com
The ability of auditors to detect fraud is a crucial aspect in maintaining the integrity and transparency of financial statements.
