Through a literature review and a qualitative approach, the study highlights the importance of effective talent management strategies, including the fulfillment of psychological contracts and a supportive organizational culture, to improve the performance and retention of qualified employees. The results show that the success of talent management depends on the strategic mindset of talent managers who prioritize the process of recruiting, identifying, developing, and maintaining positive relationships with the talented workforce. Research recommendations include the development of an integrative model that combines these factors and the need for further studies in other sectors such as SOEs and companies listed on the IDX. These findings confirm that a comprehensive talent management approach can address public sector challenges such as workforce shortages and early retirement, thereby improving organizational performance and service quality.
Qathrunnada Atikah Hamka, Haliah Copyright (c) 2025 Qathrunnada Atikah Hamka, Haliah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3025 Sun, 17 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE INDUSTRIAL SECTOR AND ITS INFLUENCE ON HUMAN RESOURCES IN INDUSTRIAL MANAGEMENT https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3783
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a key element in industrial transformation, bringing significant changes in operational processes, management, and innovation. This study aims to explore the role of AI in various industrial sectors, including automation, data analysis, logistics management, and product development. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method by collecting research data through observation, interviews and literature studies. The results of the study show that the application of AI can increase efficiency, productivity, and the quality of industrial output as a whole. However, on the other hand, the adoption of this technology also has a major impact on human resources (HR). This study found that AI shifts the need for labor from manual skills to technology-based skills, creating the need for reskilling and upskilling. In addition, this shift presents social challenges, such as the potential for structural unemployment due to the reduction of routine job roles. However, AI also opens up new opportunities, such as jobs in data analysis and AI-based system management. This study concludes that the role of AI in industry must be balanced with strategic policies that support HR development, to ensure that this transformation has a positive impact on sustainability. This includes training programs, increasing access to technology, and adapting to changes in the work ecosystem in the digital era.
Rismaja Putra Copyright (c) 2025 Rismaja Putra https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3783 Sun, 03 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECT OF EMPLOYEE NUMBER AND COMPETENCE ON WORKPLACE EFFECTIVENESS, WITH EDUCATION AS A MODERATING VARIABLE FOR EMPLOYEES IN THE TRADE AND CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT DIVISION, AND IN FINANCE, COMMUNICATION, AND GENERAL AFFAIRS AT PT PLN (PERSERO) MAIN DIS https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3922
This study aims to analyze the influence of the number of employees and competency on the effectiveness of work results with education as a moderating variable on employees in the Commerce and Customer Management Division and the Finance, Communication and General Division at PT PLN (Persero) North Sumatra Main Distribution Unit. The research problem stems from the importance of the effectiveness of work results in supporting the sustainability of company operations, especially in the electricity distribution sector which demands efficiency, service quality, and accuracy of employee performance. This type of research is quantitative research using a survey method. The population in this study were all employees in the studied field with a sample of 94 respondents determined through saturated sampling techniques. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 3.0). The results of the study indicate that: (1) the number of employees has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of work results; (2) competency has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of work results; (3) education is unable to moderate the relationship between the number of employees and the effectiveness of work results; and (4) education is unable to moderate the relationship between competency and the effectiveness of work results. The R-square value of 0.693 indicates that 69.3% of the variation in work effectiveness can be explained by the number of employees and their competencies, while the remainder is influenced by factors outside the research model. This finding emphasizes the importance of proportionally increasing the number of employees and developing employee competencies in improving work effectiveness. However, the role of education as a moderating variable has not been proven significant in this study.
Yasmir Lukman, Kiki Farida Ferine, Sri Rahayu Copyright (c) 2025 Yasmir Lukman, Kiki Farida Ferine, Sri Rahayu https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3922 Tue, 26 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE INFLUENCE OF VISUAL AND AUDIOVISUAL INTERACTION OF INSTAGRAM CONTENT ON VISITORS' INTEREST IN KUPIE THAMRIN CULINARY CAFE https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3629
This study aims to analyze the effect of visual and audiovisual interaction of Instagram content on visitor interest in Kuliner Kupie Thamrin Cafe. The present study examines how Emplorax an imaginary name for a Singapore-based SaaS firm may digitalize its marketing strategy and raise leads quality, conversion, and marketing return on investment (ROI). The study is a paradigm mix of qualitative and quantitative methodologies through the integration of data from CRM systems, advertisements dashboards as well as websites analytics, with the qualitative insightes coming from internal interviews. A strategic framework outlines the analysis, which includes both external and internal diagnostics, funnel-based channel mapping, and performance optimization levers. The results demonstrate the clear differences in the performance of the channels. SEO and Google Ads can offer along with the lowest cost per lead the highest number of leads and conversely, Meta Ads affect the pipeline quality the least. Internally, critical limitations appear in CRM segmentation, mid-funnel email automation, and the lack of performance feedback loops. Particular market limitations such as stringent procurement procedures and the need for integration readiness further decrease the conversion rate. The proposed approach is the introduction of two sequential executions' playbooks. Playbook A deals with Capture and Qualify Leads through Digital Acquisition. Besides, Playbook B will meet the conversion with the help of retargeting offline engagement and the structured sales follow-up, which is tagged for high-intent leads identification. The scheme also proposes standardizing CRM lifecycle, automating nurture workflows, and using multi-touch attribution modeling, specifically for the Singapore context. This thesis shows a realistic plan for SaaS marketers, who are working in high-consideration B2B environments. By employing a data driven, funnel aligned strategy accompanied by structured playbooks, the companies will be enabled to improve lead qualification, pipeline velocity, and marketing-to-sales collaboration. The framework is a remediable model for regional SaaS companies, which are willing to perform through digital marketing integrated.
Sukraj Putera, Novika Candra Astuti Copyright (c) 2025 Sukraj Putera, Novika Candra Astuti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3596 Wed, 27 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECT OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC RESILIENCE OF HORTICULTURAL FARMERS IN MAGETAN REGENCY https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3831
This study aims to analyze the influence of climate change on the socio-economic resilience of horticultural farmers in Magetan Regency. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, this study involved 100 respondents of horticultural farmers spread across several production center sub-districts. The results of the study show that the majority of farmers are aware of climate change which is characterized by erratic growing seasons, rising temperatures, and unstable rainfall. Climate change has a significant impact on farmers' economic aspects, such as declining crop yields, increasing production costs, and reduced net income. From a social perspective, involvement in farmer groups and access to climate information has been proven to strengthen farmers' resilience. However, there are still many farmers who have not implemented optimal adaptation strategies due to limited information, technology, and supporting institutions. This study recommends strengthening local institutions, more intensive climate counseling, and developing participatory adaptation programs as an effort to build resilience in horticultural agriculture in the midst of increasingly intense climate change.
Widita Nareswari Copyright (c) 2025 Widita Nareswari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3831 Wed, 13 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECT OF COMPETENCE AND TRAINING ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH WORK EFFECTIVENESS AS A MODERATING VARIABLE IN PLN DISTRIBUTION REGULATION IMPLEMENTING UNIT (UP2D) NORTH SUMATRA https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3927
This study aims to analyze the influence of training, competence, and work effectiveness on employee performance, with moderation variables strengthening the relationship among these variables. This approach is used to analyze how the interaction between technology and social context affects the acceptance of innovation at the farmer level. The method used is qualitative with in-depth interview techniques, observations, and directed group discussions (FGD). The results of the study show that farmers' perception of bioengineered products is greatly influenced by the level of knowledge, experience, and social influence of farmer group figures. The information received by farmers tends to be minimal and biased, especially due to the weak role of agricultural extension workers and the dominance of private distributors in the delivery of information. In addition, local cultural norms and values also shape farmers' attitudes towards technology that is considered unnatural. The sociotechnical approach has proven to be able to be a bridge between technology and the social needs of farming communities, by emphasizing participatory involvement and two-way communication. Therefore, the application of agricultural technology must take into account social structures and local values to guarantee the success and sustainability of its adoption.
Heru Widyatmoko Copyright (c) 2025 Heru Widyatmoko https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3827 Wed, 13 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE AND WORK ETHIC ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH EMPLOYEE PLANNING AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE AT PT PLN (PERSERO) UP3 PADANGSIDIMPUAN https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3923
This study aims to analyze the influence of Organizational Climate and Work Ethic on Employee Performance with Employee Planning as an intervening variable. The results of the study indicate that Work Ethic has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance and a significant effect on Employee Planning. Organizational Climate does not directly affect Employee Performance, but has a significant effect on Employee Planning. In addition, Employee Planning has a significant effect on Employee Performance. In terms of mediation, Employee Planning is able to significantly mediate the effect of Work Ethic on Employee Performance, but cannot mediate the effect of Organizational Climate on Employee Performance. These findings indicate the importance of improving employee planning in improving performance through work ethic.
Yessi Indra, Sri Rahayu, Kiki Farida Ferine Copyright (c) 2025 Yessi Indra, Sri Rahayu, Kiki Farida Ferine https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3923 Tue, 26 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECT OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CARBON ACCOUNTING, DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO AND DIVIDEND PAYOUT TO RATIO ON COMPANY VALUE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, AND GOVERNANCE PERFORMANCE AS MEDIATING VARIABLES IN PALM OIL PLANTATION COMPANIES ON THE INDONESIA ST https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3634
This study aims to analyze the influence of Carbon Accounting, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) on Firm Value with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) as a mediating variable. The research focuses on palm oil plantation subsector companies that have met sustainability criteria according to the OJK Green Taxonomy. These criteria include the publication of sustainability reports consecutively during 2020–2024, the implementation of carbon accounting, ownership of ISPO and RSPO certification, and having an ESG score from global rating agencies such as Sustainalytics, SPOTT, or CSRHub. The sample used consists of five large companies selected through a purposive sampling method, with consideration of compliance with predetermined technical criteria. The analytical methods used in this study were panel data regression and path analysis to examine the direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results showed that carbon accounting has a positive and significant effect on firm value, indicating that companies that are more transparent in reporting their emissions tend to be more valued by the market. DPR also has a positive and significant effect on firm value, while DER has a negative but insignificant effect. In the mediation model, ESG is proven to significantly mediate the relationship between carbon accounting and firm value, but does not mediate the influence of DER and DPR.These findings underscore the importance of integrating sustainability aspects into corporate strategy, not only to comply with regulations but also to add value to the company. ESG and carbon accounting have proven to be not only indicators of compliance but also capable of strengthening a company's financial value.
Ismi Izzati, Keulana Erwin, Isfenti Sadalia Copyright (c) 2025 Ismi Izzati, Keulana Erwin, Isfenti Sadalia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3634 Wed, 27 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 INFLUENCE OF FINANCIAL LITERACY, LIFESTYLE, AND SOCIAL MEDIA ON THE CONSUMPTIVE BEHAVIOR OF GENERATION Z STUDENTS IN THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS FROM AN ISLAMIC ECONOMIC PERSPECTIVE https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3874
This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, lifestyle, and social media on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z students in the Faculty of Economics and Business at Malikussaleh University from an Islamic economic perspective. Generation Z is known for its high tendency toward consumptive behavior due to the intensive use of social media, modern lifestyles, and low financial literacy. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test both partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on consumptive behavior. The results show that partially, financial literacy has a negative and significant effect on consumptive behavior, indicating that higher financial literacy reduces students' consumptive tendencies. Meanwhile, lifestyle and social media usage have positive and significant effects, meaning the higher the lifestyle orientation and social media intensity, the greater the level of consumptive behavior. Simultaneously, all three variables significantly affect consumptive behavior. From the perspective of Islamic economics, excessive consumption (israf) is prohibited, as it contradicts the principles of moderation and balance in consumption. This study recommends strengthening Islamic financial literacy education from an early age to reduce consumptive behavior and build students' awareness to adopt rational and responsible consumption practices in accordance with Islamic principles as outlined in the Qur'an.
Tarisa Zikria Maghfira, Yulius Dharma, Munardi, Fuadi Copyright (c) 2025 Tarisa Zikria Maghfira, Yulius Dharma, Munardi, Fuadi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3874 Sun, 17 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE INFLUENCE OF AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) TECHNOLOGY, ADVERTISING APPEALS, LIVE SHOPPING, AND INFLUENCER MARKETING ON PURCHASING DECISIONS FOR HANASUI LIPSTICK PRODUCTS (CASE STUDY ON FEMALE STUDENTS IN LHOKSEUMAWE CITY) https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/4069
The present study investigates the influence of Augmented Reality (AR), advertising appeal, live shopping and influencer marketing on consumer purchasing decisions, with a specific focus on female university students in Lhokseumawe City as consumers of Hanasui lipstick products. The accelerated evolution of digital marketing platforms, in conjunction with the incorporation of interactive technologies, has profoundly influenced consumer behaviour, particularly within the cosmetics industry, where the experience of products holds particular significance. A purposive sampling method, categorised as non-probability sampling, was employed to select 120 respondents. The data were collected through an online questionnaire, which was distributed via Google Forms. The data were then analysed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 21. The findings indicate that augmented reality (AR), advertising appeal, and live shopping features have a significant and positive influence on purchasing decisions, suggesting that immersive experiences and interactive product demonstrations enhance consumer confidence and interest. However, the investigation revealed that influencer marketing did not demonstrate a significant effect, suggesting that personal factors or peer recommendations may have a greater impact on consumer behaviour in this context than promotional content from influencers.
Cut Dhea Fidela , Adnan, Naufal Bachri, Rahmaniar Copyright (c) 2025 Cut Dhea Fidela , Adnan, Naufal Bachri, Rahmaniar https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/4069 Sun, 21 Sep 2025 00:00:00 +0000 INDIA’S DEMAND FOR CRUDE OIL: PROJECTIONS TILL 2035 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3782
Abstract*
Deepti Sethi, Brijesh Tiwari Copyright (c) 2025 Deepti Sethi, Brijesh Tiwari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3782 Wed, 27 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECT OF IMPLEMENTING TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION MANAGEMENT THROUGH ELECTRICITY LOSS APPLICATION INNOVATION ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AT PLN ULP BUKITTINGGI https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3920
Digital transformation is a strategic key for companies in improving the quality of public services, including in the electricity sector. This study aims to analyze the effect of digital technology implementation and innovation management on customer service, with the innovation of the Electricity Loss Application as an intervening variable at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Bukittinggi. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an associative causal design, involving 100 respondents who are active customers of the Electricity Loss Application. Research Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 400 respondents who have purchased or are interested in thrift fashion products. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA) to test the interaction effect between SMM and gender. Originality/Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in the gender interaction approach in the digital marketing model for thrift products, which is still rarely studied in the context of Indonesian consumers. This study also contributes to the social media-based marketing literature with a focus on gender segmentation. Research Results: The results show that SMM has a positive and significant effect on thrift clothing purchase intention. Gender is proven to significantly moderate the relationship, with a stronger influence on the female consumer group. Findings from the multi-group analysis indicate that marketing strategies through social media are more effective in shaping women's purchase intention than men's. Implications: This study provides implications that digital marketing strategies need to be tailored to consumer demographic characteristics, particularly gender, to increase campaign effectiveness and purchase conversions in the thrift fashion industry.
Virdies Nur Cahya, Refius Pradipta Setyanto Copyright (c) 2025 Virdies Nur Cahya, Refius Pradipta Setyanto https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3624 Fri, 20 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE QUALITY OF GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL REPORTS https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3872
This study aims to test the influence of the use of Big Data, Effectiveness of Budget Planning and Internal Control Systems Quality of Financial Reports in SKPD of Southeast Aceh Regency. This study aims to describe the marketing strategies applied by small retailers in the face of such competition. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of five small retail stores in Medan. The results show that the most effective strategies include WhatsApp-based delivery services, social media utilization, customer loyalty programs, and local community approaches. Stores that implement adaptive strategies experience an increase in turnover of up to 35%, while stores that do not innovate tend to stagnate. Small retailers still have a competitive advantage in terms of emotional closeness, flexibility of service, and quick response to customers. This study concludes that the key to the success of small retail lies in the combination of a simple digital marketing strategy and a locality-based relational approach. The approach used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of 10 purposively selected respondents. The results showed that service quality was considered quite good in terms of reliability and tangibles, but weaknesses remained in the dimensions of responsiveness, empathy, and assurance. Obstacles found included: lack of clarity in procedural information, unresponsiveness from staff, the absence of an online document tracking system, and minimal empathy in service communications. Service users expect improvements in interpersonal communication, procedural consistency, and accelerated service through the digitization of the administrative system. Therefore, improving the quality of academic administration services needs to focus on strengthening staff competencies, developing technology-based service systems, and establishing a humanistic and responsive service culture.
Akbar Reza Pratama, Meilita Tryana Sembiring, Evawany Yunita Aritonang Copyright (c) 2025 Akbar Reza Pratama, Meilita Tryana Sembiring, Evawany Yunita Aritonang https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3595 Wed, 27 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN HORTICULTURAL PRODUCT PROMOTION: THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SOCIAL MEDIA-BASED ADVERTISING STRATEGIES ON INCREASING SALES OF YOUNG FARMERS https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3830
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of social media-based advertising strategies in increasing sales of horticultural products managed by young farmers. The research approach uses quantitative methods with the support of qualitative data, through surveys of 60 young farmers and in-depth interviews to obtain comprehensive information on digital marketing strategies. The results show that the majority of young farmers aged 21–35 years use Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and WhatsApp Business platforms as the main means of promotion. The most widely used advertising strategies include organic content (75%), paid advertising (60%), and partnerships with micro-influencers (30%). Data analysis shows that the combination of visual content and paid advertising has driven an average increase in sales of 35% in the past six months, much higher than farmers who still rely on traditional promotions with a 10–15% increase. These findings support the theory of content marketing, AIDA, and digital marketing performance, which assert that social media-based promotions can increase consumer engagement, build product branding, and expand market reach. This study recommends optimizing digital strategies and strengthening online marketing literacy to support the sustainability of young farmers' horticultural businesses in the digital economy era.
Atik Sukmaningrum Copyright (c) 2025 Atik Sukmaningrum https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3830 Wed, 13 Aug 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECT OF COMMUNICATION AND MANAGERIAL SUPPORT ON PERFORMANCE WITH ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AS A MODERATING VARIABLE IN THE TREASURY DIVISION OF PLN HEAD OFFICE https://radjapublika.com/index.php/IJEBAS/article/view/3926
This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture, communication, and managerial support on employee performance, with communication and organizational culture as moderating variables. As the food and beverage sub-sector plays a pivotal role in economic development and contributes significantly to Indonesia’s GDP and export value, understanding the financial determinants is crucial. Using agency theory as a framework, this research analyzes the impact of four financial ratios Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Asset Turnover (TAT), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) face off Return on Assets (ROA). The study applies a quantitative approach with panel data regression and utilizes secondary data from annual reports of 71 food and beverage companies over three years. Fixed Effect Model (FEM) was selected as the best fit based on Chow and Hausman tests. The results reveal that DER and NPM significantly affect ROA, where DER negatively impacts financial performance, while NPM has a strong positive influence. In contrast, CR and TAT do not exhibit statistically significant effects on ROA.
