Witchcraft, or santet, is a supernatural phenomenon involving metaphysical forces intended to inflict physical, mental, or emotional suffering on victims. The study aims to analyze existing legal regulations and evaluate the challenges of proving such cases within Indonesia's legal system. A normative juridical method was applied, with an analysis of legal statutes and relevant legal literature. The findings indicate that Article 252 sanctions individuals claiming to possess supernatural abilities, with penalties of up to 1 year and 6 months imprisonment or a fine of Category IV, with an additional one-third penalty if the act is committed for profit. While legal provisions exist, proving witchcraft offenses remains difficult due to their intangible nature. Approaches such as expert testimony, medical evidence, and technological tools are highlighted as alternatives for improving evidence mechanisms. In conclusion, the effectiveness of legal regulations on witchcraft offenses requires strengthening evidentiary tools and adopting holistic approaches to ensure justice and legal certainty.
Agung Risky Saputra Marpaung Frans Simangunsong Copyright (c) 2025 Agung Risky Saputra Marpaung, Frans Simangunsong https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-02-17 2025-02-17 5 1 66 78 10.54443/morfai.v5i1.2522 CHANGES IN PUBLIC INFORMATION CONSUMPTION PATTERNS IN THE DIGITAL ERA: A LITERATURE STUDY ON DIGITAL JOURNALISM https://radjapublika.com/index.php/MORFAI/article/view/2544
Changes in the pattern of public information consumption in the digital era have brought about major transformations in the field of journalism. With easier access to information through various digital platforms and social media, people increasingly rely on mobile devices to get news quickly and instantly. This requires traditional media to adapt to new business models that are more oriented to audience needs and utilize the potential of data analysis to optimize content distribution. Digital journalism has emerged in response to these changes, offering a more interactive and engaging way of presenting news through the use of multimedia. However, there is a major challenge in maintaining the integrity and credibility of the news amid the rapid flow of information that is sometimes unverified. In facing this challenge, it remains important for journalists and media institutions to uphold the principles of ethics and professionalism in news reporting. Thus, the digital era provides opportunities as well as challenges for the world of journalism, requiring various parties to continue to innovate and prioritize the quality and accuracy of information presented to the public. Digital literacy and continuous training are crucial so that journalists and the public can adapt to the changes that occur, and still have access to credible and trustworthy information.
Indah Sulistiani Caroline Caroline Syarifuddin Copyright (c) 2025 Indah Sulistiani, Caroline Caroline, Syarifuddin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-02-24 2025-02-24 5 1 204 208 10.54443/morfai.v5i1.2544 THE ROLE OF ELECTRONIC WORD OF MOUTH (e-WOM) IN INFLUENCEING THE DECISION TO GO ON HOLIDAY TO THE NATURAL TOURISM OF MOUNT TANGKUBAN PARAHU IN WEST JAVA https://radjapublika.com/index.php/MORFAI/article/view/2606
The implementation of integrated risk management helps hospitals identify, assess, and manage risks, both clinical and non-clinical, to minimize injuries, accidents, and financial losses. This article aims to analyze the importance of integrated risk management in hospital management strategies and identify challenges and solutions for its implementation. Based on a literature review and various case studies, it is found that the implementation of international standards such as ISO 31000 has successfully optimized risk management in hospitals, especially in dealing with operational and clinical risks. However, significant challenges are still encountered, such as the lack of professionals trained in risk management and limited supporting technology. Suggested solutions include intensive training for staff, implementation of a technology-based incident reporting system, and integrating risk management with financial processes to prevent budget discrepancies. With these measures, the hospital can increase the effectiveness of risk management, improve patient safety, and maintain optimal continuity of operations.
Edi Kurnawan Farida Yuliaty Vip Paramarta Kosasih Copyright (c) 2025 Edi Kurnawan, Farida Yuliaty, Vip Paramarta, Kosasih https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-02-17 2025-02-17 5 1 51 58 10.54443/morfai.v5i1.2518 INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL ACCOUNTING AND DIGITAL LITERACY ON FINANCIAL REPORT PREPARATION WITH USER ABILITY AS A MODERATION https://radjapublika.com/index.php/MORFAI/article/view/2542
Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) play a crucial role in the rapid development of MSMEs. Anthropomorphism of brand logos and brand familiarity can play an important role in forming a positive brand image, thus influencing the level of consumer trust. This study aims to analyze how these two factors contribute to brand trust in Olive Fried Chicken, considering the mediating role of brand image. This study uses a non-experimental quantitative approach with a focus on Olive Fried Chicken consumers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and its surroundings. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale, using a purposive random sampling method with a sample of 350 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS 24 to test the causal relationship between variables and confirm the validity and reliability of the instrument through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). This study shows that logo anthropomorphism and brand familiarity have a positive and significant influence on brand image, which in turn has an impact on increasing brand trust. Brand image acts as a mediator in the relationship between logo anthropomorphism and brand familiarity with brand trust, confirming that a strong image can strengthen consumer trust. Therefore, companies are advised to optimize branding strategies through more anthropomorphic logo designs and increased brand familiarity to build better brand image and trust.
Hutdi Nur Cahyono Singgih Santoso Copyright (c) 2025 Hutdi Nurcahyono, Singgih Santoso https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-03-27 2025-03-27 5 1 535 546 10.54443/morfai.v5i1.2667 THE INFLUENCE OF MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS, PROCESS INNOVATION AND OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY IN HOSPITALS https://radjapublika.com/index.php/MORFAI/article/view/2512
The implementation of Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) is a solution to improve operational efficiency by integrating various aspects of services, including administration, electronic medical records, and resource management. Stability is the same as the absence of fundamental or chaotic changes in a political system, or changes that occur within agreed or predetermined boundaries. Development requires security and stability. The development itself must also include security and stability, even the development of security and stability is carried out together with development in other fields. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies by looking at previous studies, as well as online news as a supporting source. From the data obtained, it will be processed by linking it with the theories that have been previously designed. The approach to political stability as a form of government resilience can be seen from the government management system related to the economy, social, and state security, thus creating political stability in it. Singapore's government tends to have good governance so that it affects the level of the economy and the stability of the country itself, in contrast to Thailand and Myanmar which have a fluctuating index. The research methods include laboratory tests for parameters such as Water Temperature, Turbidity, DO, BOD, COD, TSS, pH, and Color, as well as field measurements using equipment such as Current Meters, ropes with weights, Sechhi Disks, air temperature, and GPS to record sampling locations. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in BOD and COD values at point A9, 200 meters downstream from the mining location, due to suction and overflow of water from pontoon boats. Despite the increase in values, the DO value indicates that the water quality is still good, although not comparable to the increase in BOD and COD. The influence of water discharge is an important factor, where high water discharge, especially at points A7, A8, and A9, results in dilution and decreased concentration of pollutants. Parameter analysis shows a decrease in water quality in spots, indicating a source of pollutants that may be diffuse. However, the average Pollution Index value shows that the water quality meets class III quality standards. Kapuas River water can still be used for fish farming, livestock, agricultural irrigation, and other related purposes. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, where data is obtained through interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that the marketing strategy includes products, prices, promotions, places, people, physical evidence, and processes. BSI gold pawn products excel in low deposit fees (ujroh), high estimated value, and fast service through BSI Mobile and Byond. The pricing strategy uses the Basic Gold Price (HDE) based on the average gold price in the last four months and considering competitor prices. Promotion is carried out through flyers, banners, socialization, application pop-ups, and WA Blast. Product distribution is easier with digital services that allow customers to make transactions without going to a branch office. In terms of service, customer service plays a role in providing information and assisting with transactions. Physical evidence can be seen from the office facilities and attractive promotional materials. The gold pawn process is made efficient, from handing over gold to disbursing funds and extending the pawn digitally. Although still facing competition with conventional pawnshops, the 7P-based marketing strategy has proven to increase the appeal of this product. More aggressive innovation and promotion are needed so that BSI gold pawnshops are better known to the public.
Erika Rukhul Amin Haqiqi Rafsanjani Copyright (c) 2025 Erika, Rukhul Amin, Haqiqi Rafsanjani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-02-20 2025-02-20 5 1 143 149 10.54443/morfai.v5i1.2533 AI-BASED APPROACH TO RISK MANAGEMENT IN SUPPORT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS https://radjapublika.com/index.php/MORFAI/article/view/2579
Artificial intelligence (AI)-based approaches to risk management have shown great potential in supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals. A qualitative research method was employed, using a field research approach, with the findings presented descriptively (in the form of words or sentences). Regarding the research approach, the study adopts a socio-legal perspective, meaning that it focuses on legal aspects as perceived by the community, particularly concerning the application of physical sanctions in Sanger customary law, which is then examined through the lens of Islamic law. The findings indicate that the implementation of physical sanctions in Sanger customary law in Danau Sembuluh Village, Danau Sembuluh District, Seruyan Regency—including within its Muslim community—adheres to principles aligned with the legal framework of Indonesia, namely kinship, justice, and deliberation in the interest of the collective good. From an Islamic legal perspective, this practice falls under the category of al-'Urf al-Shahih (valid customary practice), as it promotes maslahah (benefit) and prevents mufsadah (harm). However, if the application of such sanctions involved oppression, disproportionality, or exceeded reasonable limits, it would instead be classified as al-'Urf al-Fasid (corrupt customary practice), which is deemed invalid. This distinction aligns with the principles outlined in the Qur'an, Hadith, and the opinions of Islamic scholars.
Yusril Anwar Ibrahim Abdul Khair Novita Mayasari Angelia Copyright (c) 2025 Yusril Anwar Ibrahim, Abdul Khair, Novita Mayasari Angelia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-02-17 2025-02-17 5 1 59 66 10.54443/morfai.v5i1.2521 IMPLEMENTATION OF LEAN HOSPITAL AS AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE HEALTH SERVICES IN THE EMERGENCY UNIT OF THE HOSPITAL https://radjapublika.com/index.php/MORFAI/article/view/2543
Service emergency emergency at home Sick often face challenge like overcrowded and false emergencies, which resulted in a decline quality service and improvement time Wait patient. Although these regulations require compliance with technical, safety, and occupational health standards, their implementation still experiences various obstacles. This can be seen from the continued use of obsolete and uncertified equipment, as well as the high number of work accidents. To improve the effectiveness of standardization, the supervision and law enforcement system in Indonesia can be compared with other countries such as the Philippines. However, investment decisions in this asset are often influenced by psychological biases, such as herding bias and overconfidence, which can lead to irrational and high-risk decision-making. This study aims to analyze the effect of herding bias and overconfidence on cryptocurrency investment decisions, with financial literacy as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the relationship between variables. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed online to members of the Tokocrypto Official Group community with a sample of 100 respondents selected using the snowball sampling technique. The results of the study show that herding bias has no significant effect on cryptocurrency investment decisions, while overconfidence has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. However, financial literacy is not proven to significantly moderate the relationship between herding bias and overconfidence on investment decisions. This finding indicates that even though investors have a good level of financial literacy, psychological factors still play a dominant role in making investment decisions in cryptocurrency. This study contributes to enriching the literature on behavioral finance by revealing the limited role of financial literacy in suppressing psychological bias in risky investment decisions. The practical implications of this study emphasize the need for investment education that focuses not only on financial literacy, but also on controlling psychological aspects in investment decision making.

Febrian Yoga Aditama Surya Raharja Copyright (c) 2025 Febrian Yoga Aditama, Surya Raharja https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-02-24 2025-02-24 5 1 179 189 10.54443/morfai.v5i1.2541 DIGITALISATION OF TAX : REPORTINGAN ANALYSIS OF E-FILING IN SYSTEMS DIFFERENT COUNTRIES https://radjapublika.com/index.php/MORFAI/article/view/2596
This research analyses the implementation of E-Filing systems as part of the digitalisation of tax reporting in various countries and its impact on tax administration.
